Even if you have some unusual circumstance, HRB software probably can handle it.
Biggest annoyance I have is the repeated emails to schedule a meeting or buy software after I have bought it on line and started my taxes.
Pros: Easy to prepare, Maximizes refund, Easy to import documents

Always used H&R Block (HRB) software for my personal needs but used TaxSlayer in my AARP Tax Aide volunteer program. The HRB program satisfies my needs and my familiarity with the software keeps me coming back to it to file my return which, although not complex, has certain nuances that are facilitated by the use of this software.

Software crashed and very little information was passed on to end consumer. Our business is switching next year for the way it was handled. Telling customers you pay for the software and not the use of e-filing.
