Been using for many years. Appreciate pre-filling of information from previous return to speed up completion of return. Good communication on status of returns once submitted
At the end of the program where you choose how you are going to pay the tax liability, the program needs to be upfront with a warning that if you choose credit card, it is going to cost you 2.5% or more. Instead, is says something like we will tell how to do this after you submit. At that point, your are essentially committed, especially if you are doing it on April 15. I chose to just take a late penalty because I think that will be cheaper than the 2.5%. I have used your product for many many years. I think you have just lost a customer. In addition, this years program tells me I underpaid last year and owe a penalty. It was your program that told me how much I needed to pay last year! Also, when I tried to import information from my stock account at Charles Schwab, The only account of four that I have that showed up is the custodial account that I keep for my underaged daughter. Very inconvenient.

Submitted more than 20x. In the end, I had to file an extension with ANOTHER PROVIDER - and then submit successfully with HR Block days after tax day.
Not likely to use next year - after using your product for years.
Also was possibly billed multiple times for each failed submission.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I am very disappointed in this years version 9f the software. Errors throughout the return and problems with electronic submission made the entire experience a disaster. Not sure if I will use HR Block again or not.

Had issues with a 1099 form that prevented the return from being transmitted. When I tried to file for an extension, very little information was populated into the form even though it was already entered into the program. Customer service tried to help. The only resolution was to delete the form and take my chances with the IRS. The glitches should have been caught before the product shipped.

I have been using this the last few years. One reason - even though I like the software - is that TurboTax is more expensive.The software is much better than when I initially started using it or it is less glitchy.
I’ve used H&R Tax software since 2000, when the software came in floppy discs!! I have rental property so use the premium version. I occasionally have a CPA do my taxes and compare, and there are no differences. Gives me the confidence of accuracy, at a fraction of the cost. The work is in the assembly of the paperwork- why pay to have someone else do data entry?? I like the audit check feature too. Need to improve the state software, I feel less confident in its accuracy but no audits so far.
