Problems with efile

Limit of 3 copies of form 8938, additional bad gateway error when E-file.
Cons: Time consuming

Too many problems

I have used HR Block for a decade or more. Always accurate. I like the audit it does at the end. Although if corrections are needed, it needs to be easier to make the correction. Like taking you back to the interview so you can answer the question vs guess where a figure gets inserted into a form, etc. Otherwise it works well.
Pros: Easy to prepare, Maximizes refund, Easy to import documents, Fast

Never again...never again

Ok, I bought the electronic version (software) at the warehouse store. Did our taxes, and that was easy enough, but filing...good lord. I have disabled all firewalls, disabled proxy, and still get the "bad gateway" message. Somehow, once (of my currently 52 or so tries) it did submit the federal return (it says). I even got an email that it was submitted and accepted. Too bad that the software cannot speak to the mothership and confirm this. Still getting a "bad gateway"/cannot connect to servers message and have little hope that I'll be able to file the state. So...*this* isn't where the frustration is supposed to come. The "e-file" should be easy. This...this was hard at all the wrong places (after you've already spend considerable time doing *your* part).

Cons: Time consuming
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
