I have been using H&R Block Tax software for many years (more than 10 years). I have been very happy with the software. The software is well designed and very easy to use, very intuitive. I tried other softwares in comparison, and can say H&R Block is the best for my need.

I’ve been using H&R Block software since they bought a small company that provided a tax software that ran on my Apple II.
They were a little rusty at first but have been getting better ever since. Ten or 15 years ago—maybe longer—I tried Intuit. It was so frustrating I shredded all the entries i had made over several days and bought the current HnR. Have never looked back

I am a retired Block pro & this program stinks.

There were so many errors in. this program that I can't begin to list them all. No place to enter an IRS IPPIN without Googling. No choice for last year Filing jointly AGI check. Needed to override program and then enter the AGI twice--once for each filer. Running total for refund incorrect. No place to enter 1099S except for primary home sale.
Cons: Time consuming, Hard to prepare, Hard to import documents
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Great for what it covers but still lacking for K-1

I have been buying this software every year for over 10 years now and have been very happy with the wide range of topics that it covers except for K-1 investments. They still don't have a good interview to help cover the confusing forms that you get for reporting.
But there have been no issues with covering my small business, rental property, retirement income, and 1099 work.

I find the software difficult to use and your request for CUSIPS on stock trades makes it exceedingly difficult to obtain an estimate. YOu should improve this so it is easier to estimate taxes
