The H&R Block software just gets better every year. Not only does it include all the changes to the tax law, it seamlessly integrates them into the menu. The GoTo function is amazing in that it can take you anywhere when you have a form that needs to be added.
I have used the software for many years and think it is the best.

Does not figure deprecation upon selling property

Used this program for at least 28 years in order to make deprecation on a rental property easy to figure out, especially upon selling. Upon selling the property the program did not do anything to figure out deprecation. Help desk was no help either.
Pros: Maximizes refund

I find it easy. Just import your information from last year's return and edit in the new data. It's easy to go to a specific page to double check your data. Print your forms and e-mail your returns. You can e-mail 5 Federal returns per box so your family can do their return and e-mail it. You can also purchase software that includes State as well as Federal. Data flows from your Federal return to your State.
