While frustrating, it got the job done. It was not easy to navigate, had logic errors. I used the chat function to ask for help 3 times - the agents could not answer specific questions about the application. I have used H&R Premium for 10 years. I like that the price hasn’t gone up much and hope to see software improvements for next year.
Pros: Maximizes refund, Easy to import documents
Cons: Time consuming

good but too hard to look at forms as one goes thru to make sure I entered correctly and software got it right. Had to go to print and then create PDF to view. Too clumsy

Great product makes filing taxes easy. Where it is necessary to tweak the entries, such as in the annualization of income and expenses to reduce/nullify underpayment penalty, this software helped a lot.

Not always easy to navigate and get information and some worksheets on tax issues. Software was easier to use in past years and had more free support.
When e-filing your the paym service that you use is whacked for each submission even if it failed to go through to tax agency. Took 3 attempts before it was finally accepted both returns but my payment credit card was put on hold for 3 processing fees even though the software says you will only be charged if the efile foes through succesfully. Now I have to babysit that account to make sure only one is fully processed and the other 2 are not. Either way my bank put a hold on on my account for all 3 charges and I incurred an overdraft fee from my bank. I am thinking about being reimbursed by HR Block for the overdraft fees.

Surprise State Fee

I have been using your software since approx 2005. The price has gone up considerably plus a new surprise "fee" to file our state return at the very end has turned me off your product.

This software gets worse every year. It is NOT particularly compatible with a MAC, even if you buy the MAC version. This is the last year I will use or purchase this software.
