H&R Block is the easiest and most intuitive tax program I have used. You just answer each question in an order that makes sense. If you have all your tax information in front of you the just fill in the numbers.
Although there is supposed to be support I had a question that was never answered, I was in queue for days. Specifically, if married filing separately (soon to be divorced - living in separate homes) can both deduct the mortgage interest and taxes for their own house?
For the first time I used your software and my return was rejected and you had to update your software to correct this situation. Not overly satisfied!!
Cons: Hard to prepare
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Crashed and had to re-enter

The program crashed at the end of the state filing process and I had to re-enter everything for the state tax return. Fortunately the state return is fairly simple. There are some tax areas it's not able to handle as smoothly and natively as TurboTax. But overall it does an OK job.
Forms don't link back to interview. Difficult to select interview modules. State e-file fee us far too high.

Missing Forms

This is the second year I reported that one or more Form 8949 was missing on the Federal return. I was advised to complete them myself. However, overriding the software prevents e-file. So I took my chances and e-file without the missing forms but ready to mail the manually prepared missing forms if requested by the IRS.
