Easy to download and install. Federal is fairly intuitive for tax input; moving around in the program requires some trial and error. I had a problem with the Delaware return and the balance due was not correctly reported to Delaware thus, after the fact, I got a letter from the state requesting mo' money! The DE was MFS on the same form which I've always done in the past and I cannot figure out what happened, so I attribute the problem to the software.
Only complaint I have is the large number of updates needed over the course of the tax year. Probably not avoidable but it does get a little frustrating. I have used their software for many years and have always been comfortable with its accuracy and ease of use.
Pros: Easy to prepare, Easy to import documents, Fast
I have been using the program since it was Taxcut. I have always felt confident in the software and have never had an issue. I am self-employed and have no trouble reporting all the required data.
Pros: Easy to prepare, Maximizes refund, Easy to import documents, Fast
Not sure why, but data imported from federal to state (nj) misses a lot. Rental income needs to be entered manually, this isn't acceptable to me. I will be trying a competing product next year.
