Had serious trouble with crashing, lack of available support for tax questions. It seems the HRB software experience has gone down, previously, access to forums and tax questions was included, then it became included but difficult to find, now, it is a fee for access.
Cons: Time consuming, Hard to prepare, Hard to import documents

It works GREAT!. It may cost a bit more than some others but it does not get audited like the others. I have trusted it now for about 18 years and would rather pay for a trusted product than save a few dollars and have Uncle Sam calling me.

I’ve been using the H&R Block Tax Software for approximately 10 years. I’ve used other tax softwares and this is far easier to use. You don’t have to be a certified tax preparer to use this tax software. Just answer each question and it will guide you through the entire process. It performs all the calculations for you. You can sleep at night knowing your tax return done.

Is premium tax software good for a 1099 worker?

This program is fairly easy to use, Even if you have your own business as a 1099 person and have to write things off, etc. I have used it for at least five years maybe seven and have never been audited which is probably the most important thing to me
