In the past, their software has ben rock solid. This last year, however, it kept crashing for no reason. When I would hit "NEXT" it would crash, in many different screens. It was erratic. I had to reload and restart the whole process TWICE, but the problem was nver fixed. I called HRB support, bu they had no answers. They escalated it, but the escalated dept never called me as they said they would. It was all just really unstable. Finally was able to drag it over the finish line and file, but Iffy the whole way!
Pros: Maximizes refund, Fast
Cons: Hard to prepare
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

H&R Block Premium is the easiest to use and most accurate tax preparation software I have ever used. I tried another software package once--it gave me different answers to the forms than when I determined the answers manually. I did them manually the next year and used H&R Blocks software to assess what it did--it gave me the same answers and results! The eFile option is the best, especially nowadays with the IRS problems.
Cons: Hard to import documents

I recommend H&R Block Tax software unreservedly! It does a great job for me, it simplifies things completely, and I get my taxes done in minutes instead of weeks (doing it myself and figuring it out myself). It is well worth every cent.
