Got this one because Intuit (which I've used the last three years) is way overpriced. Only thing wrong is that it wouldn't import the file from Quicken. Not a big problem, I just transferred over the numbers I needed to the appropriate sections. Still that's why It got four stars instead of five. For the price difference
Pros: Easy to install, Easy to prepare
Cons: Hard to import

The program pulled in last years data. Also, it downloaded it from the financial company. The questions at simple.
Pros: Easy to install, Easy to fix issues, Easy to prepare, Maximizes refund, Easy to import, Fast

Not user friendly for complex returns

Cannot enter Spouse's SSN # as NRA, and therefore cannot submit electronically. Also, need to review tax form instructions to see if items apply to me, where other softwares are much more intuitive and have clearer explanations.
Pros: Easy to install, Easy to import
Cons: Time consuming, Doesn't maximize refund, Hard to prepare

Another Year with Block

The software was easy to install, no glitches. The software updated my 2017 return from last years information. The directions were clear and straight forward.

PRINT PROBLEM

I HAVE USED YOUR SOFTWARE FOR YEARS. THIS TIME IT SEEMS TO HAVE A BUG. I CANNOT PRINT FED AND STATE RETURNS. IT GOES TO PRINT PAGE. THE BOTTOM IS HIDDEN BELOW AND CANNOT MOVE THE SCREEN UP TO CLICK PRINT COMMAND.

Cons: Hard to fix issues
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I have been using HR Block software for over 10 years and it is straight to the point, easy to use, and fast. I tried other tax software, but it does not match!

Easy Migration from TurboTax

I was skeptical at first about moving from TurboTax, but this was cheaper and MUCH better to use. Easy guided process, and better help features in it. It helped answer some difficult questions I had this year. Imports worked great (W2, stock sales)
