The software worked great until I received a letter from the IRS that I under paid my penalty for not withholding enough. This is the second year in a row that this has happened. I let the software determine the amount, and again it was short.

H+R Block SW guides you step-by-step in filling out the necessary IRS and State forms. Very user friendly and, up till now, bug free. I have been using this SW on a PC for about 5 years. Prior to that I was using Turbo-tax. I switched because Turbo raised their prices substantially at one point. Frankly, I found H+R Block SW at least as good and the process as well thought out. I highly recommend this SW.
