Every return I did this year was audited and the refund was lowered. Was advised that the software calculations were incorrect.
First time this has ever happened and I did the regular software update prior to beginning or completing a return.
I don’t think I will be using the H&R Block Software for the 2022 filing season.
Pros: Easy to prepare
Cons: Doesn't maximize refund

Short and long term sales that have to be hand ent

There are some things that you need to do that are not easily recognized that you need to do them. When hand filing long and short term sales because you could not import them, the instructions are not very good on how to enter the transactions.

i ran into a problem with a partnership agreement, the acct doing it had put figures in 3 columns and you program told me i had to contact your pros, i tried and was told the only way it would work was with the online version, as i was almost done i declined and just added the figures together as you would have to go with me and explain the problem if i got audited. other than that i have used the program for years and it works pretty well.

Cons: Time consuming, Hard to import documents
