The software did not allow the 6digit personal id pin from IRS. Only the 5digit

Been using this program from basically the start. It's different on the user end but always delivering the latest updates for the latest tax codes. It's very reliable. Having a trusted system/software especially for taxes is a good feeling. Start your taxes early and take the time to get every benefit the government allows via the software. You will be happy with it. Thanks.

Ease of use and full coverage of tax items

The software was easy to use and was set up to make sure we did not miss something. The ease of being able to go back and forward on the screens without having to start all over with input was great (because I had problems with that from a different company).
Pros: Easy to prepare, Maximizes refund, Fast

Program is really bad

Been waiting to file Federal and Schedule C not updated until today, 25 Jan 2022. Tried to efile and cannot since SS worksheet (which does not get submitted) will not be updated until 2/3/22. Pennsylvania state is not updated as of 1/25/22.
Cons: Time consuming, Hard to prepare
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I have used H&R Block software for many years. I have always found it easy to work through and made filing taxes as easy as possible. But this year I am VERY FRUSTRATED! The IRS asked tax payers to file their taxes as soon as possible. I was prepared to do so and found that the standard Social Security Worksheet is not available and will not be until perhaps Feb. 3rd! This is the first time I have had this problem and am considering moving to a different package next year. If possible I would like to get a refund and purchase software from a different vendor THIS YEAR. I have been happy in the past but not having a very standard tax form available prior to the IRS allowing electronic filing is unexceptable.
