Does not give you good explanations on the inputs and effects on forms. I had to go to the IRS website and read the actual instructions to understand the context of the inputs and changed many of my first instincts based on the IRS definition vs the software.
Cons: Time consuming, Hard to prepare, Hard to import documents

Pretty good software. I am fairly confident that it is collecting all the correct information for all the various tax laws. My only wish would be for the search feature to be a little easier to use.

Basically a good program, but not intuitive and a bit clunky. IRS and state instructions are not readily accessible. HRB's summaries of instructions are not always completely accurate, at least with regard to Oregon.
Cons: Time consuming, Hard to prepare
