This software is easy to install. It's straightforward no nonsense of using it. It's less complicated than Turbotax. The software cost about 40% less compares to Turbotax.

Federal is fine and does everything for you. There is a difference, however, between California and federal with rentals as passive or active activities. It is very confusing and the software does not automatically do it for you. All it does is tell you in the final check that something needs filling out. There are several forms and none provide clear direction on how to do it. Very disappointing.
Pros: Easy to import documents
Cons: Time consuming, Hard to prepare
