Deluxe Edition is flawed in that it (1) Does not automatically carry the refund amount to the final form (2) it does not carry Medicare payments deducted from Social Security to the NJ form (3) it does not carry rental profit to the NJ form.
Pros: Easy to import documents
Cons: Doesn't maximize refund

Great program to do my own taxes. I have been using it for a long time and its easy to download last years to start a new one and the queues using last years titles and sources keeps reminding me to be sure i have a full package of info to complete the return. Also the worksheets on the contributions helps estimate the values of the contributed items so easy. Final checks also keeps my on my toes.

I’ve used H&R Block for years. Tried another software one year and came right back. It’s the easiest for me. Questions make sense. Info available on topics as needed. Typically use Deluxe, but Premium was more applicable this year with rental income.

Very easy to use..since the software uses the exact terminology on the 1099s...the boxes and descriptions..i used to use turbo tax..and they were not as precise..they try to use a visual interface that attempted to be helpful but failed..when they increased their prices 5-6 years ago I switched
