I do not have a simple return. I have been using this software for several years and find it is improving every year in terms of handling my many sources of incomes and interlinking the state and federal returns. The constant update downloads can be annoying at times when I am on a roll but they don't take as long as they used to.
Pros: Easy to prepare
Cons: Time consuming

Program fails to prompt you to attach documents

The program does not allow you to attach documents even though it suggests that you can. This has been a problem for the last two years. Although I have mentioned this issue to the support team last year, no action was taken.
Pros: Easy to prepare, Maximizes refund, Fast
Cons: Hard to import documents

Software very good; automated help could be better

Love the software but found the automated help a bit frustrating - after bouncing around in a back and forth with a robot I finally gave up on getting the answer to my specific question. Last year I bought the tax specialist chat help package and that was very helpful - but I couldn't find that as an optional package to invest in this year.
