I have been using HR Block premium/ business software for more than 15 years and very happy with it. It is easy to use, has clear Q&A pages, and fairly priced. Alerts you for missing or conflicting entries. It does not check however, the acquisition cost accuracy if your broker reports $0 erroneously. This is not a biggie, but there are a few mishaps if your tax situation is more complicated than most people. Anyone who is courageous enough to do his/her own taxes will easily recognize these and correct them manually.

I have noticed that there are two major issues in last couple of years.
1. Installation and updating software
2. W2 / 1099 importing. The list does not include many institutions and the PDF import is not there either.
