worst year ever

I've used H&R block for the last 10 years, this year is the worse ! i bought the sate return program, and i'm unable to print out thee return to mail it in. I've spent SO much more money this year on this program and i'm VERY unhappy with the results. Next year i plan on using someone else, NOT H&R block. very displeased.
Cons: Hard to fix issues
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I am a prior H & R Block Tax preparer. I retired this year after 17 years with H&R. I was concerned about doing my own taxes since I have a rental business. I purchased the Premium H&R Block program and was delighted with it. It still took me awhile, but I am now prepared to purchase this program every year from now on!!
Cons: Time consuming
Pros: Easy to install, Easy to fix issues, Easy to prepare

Injured spouse form 8379

The premium software worked just as well as the online software. Very easy to understand and use.
However, I only bought the software because I wished to submit form 8379 electronically, which you can do unless you live in a community property state. The states having community property are Louisiana, Arizona, California, Texas, Washington, Idaho, Nevada, New Mexico, and Wisconsin. Community property states follow the rule that all assets acquired during the marriage are considered "community property".
Be sure to Google your extra forms and see if it's even possible to submit electronically before you get a product.
Cons: Hard to import
Pros: Maximizes refund, Fast

Excellent Software

I have been using H&R Block Premium since 2005 when it was called Taxcut. Never had any issues with deductions for Home Business. Filing has always been convenient with no issues;

Rental assitant great help

I have used HR Block software for a few years, ever since Turbo Tax would not install. This year was the first year I had rental income, the rental assistant was a real help. I was able to go through the process with ease. I finished in record time. Will use it again.
