I have used the H&R Block tax software for many years with zero problems. Unfortunately, this year was different. Under additional income I had a rental property and royalties. The software this year was very confusing and took me several times to separate my rental income from the royalties. If I don’t hear that they fixed this Issue, I may use another software next year.
Pros: Easy to import documents
Cons: Time consuming, Hard to prepare
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

it was a seamless process of transferring 2018 information into the 2019 software. It was very thorough and easy to move through each stage from beginning to finishing.
Pros: Easy to prepare, Easy to import documents, Fast

Received my disc in the mail loaded it on my laptop purchased the software that I wanted and I was off and running just one cliche my printer would not print my return so I filed it online with success but still haven’t been able to print a hard copy for my files!
Pros: Easy to prepare, Easy to import documents

Can't get a hold of any one!

Having a problem with a tax transmission and cannot get a hold of anyone. Your phone numbers do not work. NEED HELP!!!!!!

Easy enough to use, but hidden fees for filing state taxes that are not stated up front. Otherwise, it's fairly straightforward.

The 2019 Premium software package is relatively easy to use but left a few areas with lingering questions. The major reason for a 3 out of 5 star rating is that the software package does not at all talk/work with the online H&R Block tax option. Coming from the same company, it should not matter if you use their online filing or software package, yet it does. Also, the 2018 online version seemed to be a little easier to use than the 2019 software version.
Pros: Easy to prepare
Cons: Time consuming
