Would like to see more information to be downloaded into the software, like spreadsheets especially with Charity. Also, more of a breakdown on descriptions or meanings.
Pros: Maximizes refund
Cons: Hard to import documents

Still can't file electronically for MN because of Schedule K-1, very frustrating. The only reason I still used the software is because I waited too long to get started on paper filing.
Pros: Fast

Never ever buy from Block. I inadvertently bought the PC version instead of Mac. Sorry, no refunds or changes. I never even downloaded it.

It’s helpful to put together a simple return, but may require more support to move through more complex areas like the HSA. The worst is the added fees to download and file the State, making the final fee like 75% more expensive.
Pros: Easy to prepare, Easy to import documents

Unfortunately had a bad experience using the software.
Purchased the upgrade to be able to chat with tax experts, and the few times that I chatted, kept getting conflicting information and answers. Finally had to give up and find someone else to to do them for me. Will not be using H&R software again.
