Colorado State Return Software needs improvement

I was able to get through the Federal return with no problems. The software walked me through and filled in the forms properly. In my Colorado return, the software was not able to: 1) input/ calculate my long term care insurance credit for me, nor 2) input my retired military pension income deduction for under 55 years old. I had to open the form and find the line to manually input my LTC insurance numbers, after reading the Colorado instructions for what numbers to input. I also had to read that I was only allowed a maximum $4500 deduction for my retired miliatry pension, vice the software knowing that.
I've been working as an independent contractor, itemizing with multiple 1099's and K1 statements from partnerships for the last 10 years. H&R Block tax software takes care of all these situations - it's always up to date and easy to use. I would highly recommend it.
I have been using H&R Block taxing filing software for eight years. It is my “go to” tax filing solution. Easy to use. Helps you every step of the way to maximize your refund.
I have been using H&R Block for more than 10 years, having deleted my previous files so I can't know for sure. I've always been pleased with the ease of using it for my taxes, and have done tax prep for my son and daughter to, along with a test case of married filing separate for my wife. We have rental properties, and the calculations have always been fairly clear, with explanations available when there are questions. I have appreciated being able to save money by using it instead of having to pay a service.
