Several years ago when I was using Turbo Tax, it led me down the wrong path and had me paying several thousand dollars! I contacted a close friend who is a CPA and City Finance Director. He helped me back out and correct the problem . . . then he did the best thing: He told me to use H&R Block software. I have ever since, and it has made an unpleasant task a little less painful. Most strongly recommend their software backed by in-person consultation and representation if needed! How can you go wrong?

I've been using this software for many years. I have found it to be user friendly, reasonably priced and informative on items and updates/changes in recent tax changes. Had to wait 2 days for an updated form but this was all due to IRS updates.
