Multiple Program Failures both Download and Web

I have been using this software since its first version. This year 2019 was filled with program errors that prevented me from e-filing. First the web-based version: 1) did not allow me to find ANY forms; 2) ran so slowly, with such long wait times between every single screen. that I eventually abandoned it and paid for the downloaded program. The Mac desktop software was an even worse experience: a) the program failed to enter taxable state tax refunds correctly, which could have potentially cost me a Federal underpayment penalty; b) gave me different numbers between the online and download versions; c) belatedly informed me it did NOT support nonresident Hawaii state returns (although the web version DID support it); d) was unable to resolve an issue with the Federal First Time Homebuyer's Credit, which forced me to file on paper.
It is easy to use and has done well for the many years we have used it. This year we had a problem because it put the wrong activation code in at the time to send our federal in. It was corrected but cost us extra fees because of the duplicates that were sent. Not sure if it was my fault or the program on the duplicates. But as far as doing tax it was great.
I have been using H&R for more than 15 years. This year for the first time my filing status is not updated even after filing and getting refund (both FED and STATE) it is showing that the return has not been filed.
