I've used this software for several years but I'm never quite sure if it's doing my taxes correctly. I entered some information and it said I was getting a $600 state refund. Then I changed one thing and the refund dropped to $76. Then I tried to change it back but it didn't change my refund at all. Not a lot of faith in it.
Pros: Easy to prepare
Cons: Doesn't maximize refund

The program is easy to use and easy to follow even if you don't know how to do taxes. The price has held steady for the last couple of years. The check for audit feature is great because you know H&R block will be there for you if in audit from the IRS.

Buggy software as always. Fails to properly import last years rental information. Couldn't submit taxes till May 5th since an update was needed (missing a form that the IRS released in December).
Pros: Easy to import documents
Cons: Hard to prepare

Easy and Painless

I have been using H&R Block's Schedule C return for years as a Minister. It has made preparing my taxes easy and painless with no problems. Simply read the easy to understand questions and answer them and let the software do all the work!
Pros: Easy to prepare, Maximizes refund, Easy to import documents, Fast
