This software bundle makes the treacherous journey through tax season much less painful. Answering a few questions, the software will pull up the appropriate forms and guide me through filling them out. another great little feature is the check that is performed when all is complete (before sending it off). Questionable situations or answers are addressed at this point.
Pros: Easy to prepare, Maximizes refund, Fast

I find that H&R software is easy to use and help if needed it is available. The cost is competitive compared to the other company. I have been using H&R for several years and never had a problem

Easy to use. Most everything is clear and most questions asked. A couple of times I get caught in a loop - can't clear and move forward and not sure why. I have to figure it out myself as instructions are unclear. But only on a couple items. Now I have them figured out. Very helpful customer service staff when I called in.

Reporting royalty income is confusing & difficult

I've always preferred H&R Block software but I had so much trouble entering royalty income I may change next year
Pros: Easy to import documents
Cons: Hard to prepare
