Very good experience especially if you’re familiar with preparing taxes. As a former tax pro premium made the job simple. My only complaint is trying to get the forms pulled up after completion.

I've been using H&R Block tax preparation software to do my personal income taxes for the past 10 years. The software is easy to use as long as you have adequate documentation of your finances for the past year. The checks and balances within the software do a great job of steering me away from any trouble I might have inadvertently wandered toward. The advent of electronic filing has been a real boon, and H&R Block Premium does it flawlessly.

Software would not let me e-file without updating, but would not allow me to update. Spent 90 minutes on hold and an hour with the help desk without resolution. The issue finally resolved itself when logging back in for the gillionth time, it did an auto update. The only reason for 2 stars was that the process of filling out the taxes was easy.
