I wouldn't use any other

The federal part of the program is great but getting to the proper screens to print the state return for mailing is pure trouble.
Pros: Easy to prepare, Easy to import documents
I would recommend this to a friend!

Called the help line for H and R Block 3 times for assistance with software, and was hung up on.

Easy to use

I have used this software for several years and have always been very satisfied. This year I had difficulty with my activation could during e-file, it took a lot to find my activation code did not like the automated service, wanted a telephone number to talk with a live person. Other than this happening this year I have been very satisfied

Having problems

The IRS keeps rejecting my return and it is not telling me why. The program is not particularly hard to use, but it's not working for some reason. Very frustrated. I have submitted several times.
Cons: Hard to prepare
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

It did not calculate the taxes for retirement plans correctly. Some features are not easy to follow.

State didn't work

I downloaded the Mac version and the federal downloaded fine, but the state wouldn't download and I was so close to the filing deadline that I decided to just buy it again. My credit card was charged, but it still didn't download. Indiana was the state.
Pros: Easy to prepare
Cons: Hard to import documents

Worked Great!

Good software have been using H & R. Block software for years. This year a little different because of house sale, had to call the chat and they assisted. Over all the program is very good. I would suggest they put so the "accuracy" check finds if you missed the last update. I was in the process of e-filing when the program caught so had to do the "update".. A very straight forward program just what I want.
Pros: Easy to prepare, Fast
