I've used H&R Block Premium Software for over 10 years and am satisfied with the software's operation. It is relatively easy to maneuver thru the program, and most questions/issues are able to be addressed in the Help section. However, I do have one recommendation. To simplify W-2G income, it would be helpful if the software allowed spreadsheet entry of this income when there are multiple entries with the same required information (e.g., payer information, state ID, etc). This would save time and allow completion on one "form" vs. clicking thru several pages for data entry.
Pros: Easy to prepare, Easy to import documents
Cons: Time consuming
I would recommend this to a friend!

Some forms were not populated upon the change in the app; totals were not updated as you make a change. I have been using HR Block for several years; this year the app had most bugs I have ever seen

It is different than Turbo Tax but faster to load and less hassle generally. Everyone is pretty much fed up with Turbo Tax and their lousy attitude. I didn't use the download feature to automatically transfer financial data this year but that was why I selected this year to make the switch. It will take a few years to adjust to all the features but that was expected.
Pros: Easy to prepare
Cons: Hard to import documents
