This is the second year running that I have used this software and it works fine. I have compared it to others online using their online tax software and it comes up similar. I think there are nuances between them. The only issue I had was needing to switch between OS. It took a lot of phone calls and such to install on another computer which made things difficult but it still worked fine.

I was not satisfied with guidance provided to complete form 8938. Also, with an entry populated on line 36, return could not be efiled. This is of since that line is used to identify the name of the business with the foreign account (i.e. Canada RRSP which is similar to a 401K)

Okay for simple returns but the description promised support for investment K-1s. While it has rudimentary K-1 capabilities, 75% of the K-1 codes are not supported.
Pros: Easy to import documents
Cons: Time consuming, Hard to prepare
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
