Doesn't Carry Necessary State Forms - Mail Return

Didn't have the state form I needed so I had to paper file my state return instead of electronic filing. I still haven't gotten my state refund or learned if there are issues. Turbo tax carries this form and it hasn't been an issue in previous years.

Good, but features lag well behind competition

User friendly and helpful. Sadly, integration of financial institutions for syncing of 1099s and other tax documents lags well behind competitors. This has been an ongoing problem. If addressed, I would rate this software much higher.

The program kept erasing itself. Tech help eventually told me I had to remove my printer to submit taxes electronically. That's ridiculous. They said this happens sometimes with Apple computers. I've used the program for over 20 years and never experienced anything like this. I went through the interview 4 times before I was able to submit. It was an extremely frustrating experience.
Cons: Time consuming, Hard to prepare
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Program worked well with few problems. Since most tax laws do not change much, it would seem to be reasonable for a person to be able to buy an update for last years version for the current tax year at a reduced cost.
