Makes the income tax process MUCH easier than the IRS's confusing forms. It's a simple interview process.

Very easy to use. Got results quick. Did not maximize my return.
Cons: Doesn't maximize refund

Poor and Unclear

Overall tax prep software is very poor. This is mostly due to terrible (complex) tax laws but in many cases the software doesn't help. For example on this return it asked me to enter an explanation for some amount. I had *no* idea where they came up with the number for the amount so I had to do research to figure out what it was!
Cons: Time consuming, Hard to fix issues
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I bought this product via the "mail a disk to your house" idea. I got a great deal on it as well due to the fact that I've used H&R Block tax software previous years. This most recent version in my opinion has become the easiest and fastest yet!

Returned disappeared after e-filed on the computer

Everything worked fine. IRS accepted the return. Went to check status the next day and the return disappeared from the computer!!! Hopefully there is not a problem with the IRS. Just a good thing I printed out form 1040.
Cons: Hard to fix issues
Pros: Easy to import

I have been using H&R Block for years in fact I used it when it was called Tax Cut and was really impressed with the results It is really easy to use and helps you figure out where things belong

I've been using H&R Block software for over five years. It minimizes the pain of filling out and filing tax returns as much as feasible, given that this activity is typically unpleasant. But I have been able to maximize my refund and the questions make the tax code as clear as possible given the mess that has been created by special interests to the detriment of the populace. I highly recommend this produce
