Nearly effortless

I have been using H&R Block tax software for about 10 years. I have personally striven to simplify my own life, keep careful records and carry forward my tax information each year by sticking with one brand (H&R BLOCK). This has worked out to my great advantage so that my returns are now nearly effortless exercises in filling out blank forms with any new data and hitting the next button. I have never had any issues with tax authorities and my refunds, when due, have always come in promptly. I recommend this product without hesitation.
Pros: Easy to install, Easy to prepare, Easy to import, Fast

After talking with my daughter I decided to try this software instead of the one I have been using. Much easier to use and much less costly.

Have used for many years and think it's best for my purposes. Two things this year that I want to mention: (1) mouse hover "checkmarks" items and then you cannot cancel out of them without walking thru an entire set of pages (bad & confusing); (2) my state does not have a State income tax but I could not complete my filing when I got to that point in process. Had to enter my info 3 times and then process only worked when I went around the wizard and found a place to say Skip the State tax (bug fix needed).
Cons: Hard to fix issues
Pros: Easy to install, Easy to prepare, Maximizes refund

have been using H&R Block for several years. This year I took a tax course at one of the firms doing taxes. I actually used H&R program to complete some of the homework and found it actually got a better refund. Will continue to use H&R Block.

I switched from TaxAct and from TurboTax because H&R Block works with Classic Windows so one can pay taxes without making Uncle Bill richer. Besides, H&R Block Deluxe is a great program. Very happy I found it and installed it to do my 1040 Long Form taxes.

Slow/No processing for Louisiana state taxes

Louisiana state forms are still yet to be available. I think I would be just as well to print the forms and do it myself. Maybe utilize other free online programs.
Cons: Hard to import
Pros: Easy to prepare
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I have been using H&R Block tax software for a few years now. It is easy to use and, even though I itemize, it doesn't take long at all to file. Using the Deduction Pro takes me through every possible credit and deduction and gives a maximum return.
Pros: Easy to install, Easy to fix issues, Easy to prepare, Maximizes refund, Easy to import, Fast
