great feature!

I finished my Tax Return 2016 use H&R Block, it is very detail and great feature!
The only thing is my NY State AGI is $172, but it select Itemized deduction. I would like to change from itemized to standard, but cannot.
The character size for is too small.

Everything worked great until the bank routing

Everything worked great until the bank routing screen--it would auto-truncate the first digit on my routing number which caused the efile to fail--had to go with check payments

Ohio School District form did not work correctly

Ohio School District form did not work correctly, showed no withholding so user must override and file by paper. Otherwise the rest of the program worked great.

Easy to use

Really not having problems with the product however I do not understand why when you click on help and it brings up a browser to go to the internet it uses Internet Explorer. I DO NOT use IE. The default browser on my system is NOT set to use IE. The program SHOULD use the users default browser.

Overall great but...

One thing I would recommend would be a status update of the return by either sending email or text to phone. TurboTax gave me an estimated date when I should receive my return. H&R Block is just missing this key piece, or am I just missing this?

Could be easier to see

The inset screen has very small type - lots of us users are old. It stupidly is not expandable to "full screen" mode, and when made larger with Ctrl+ it cuts off the outer edges and is not scrollable. Really not smart. Otherwise the software is intuitive and user friendly

Seamless Tax Return

I have been using H&R Block tax software for over ten years. It is very simple to use no matter how complex the tax situation. The results have never been questioned by IRS. e-Filing is seamless and fast. I will continue to use.
