I have used H & R's program for many years, I have tried other by were not a easy as H & R.

I used the Federal Deluxe, it worked well enough. I had a difficult time understanding how the links worked together but was finally able to "see" how they worked. After that things worked well. I think that this being my first time using H&R may have been part of my problem. I appreciated the final steps leading up to and sending the forms to Uncle Sam, it went smoothly and left me with a feeling of gratification when finished. Overall, I recommend this product as a one that will give the user confidence that their information and tax forms are in good hands.
Pros: Easy to install, Fast

I HAVE USED THE H&R BLOCK PROGRAMS FOR MANY YEARS. ITIS VERY USER FRIENDLY AND THE HELPS OFFERED ARE EXCEPTIONAL. IT IS A PROGRAM AND I NAME I TRUST.

Non-Monetary Donations

Only issue I have with the software is: when I fill out the "non-monetary" donations, I don't see the "cost value" question; it ask this question during the Accuracy Checking. I have been using the H&R Block software for years. In the early years version, the "cost value" question used to come up during the fill out of the non-monetary donations. I would like to see this issue is corrected.

Best Tax Prep Software on the Market!

I've been using H&R Block tax preparation software for over 20 years and each year they don't disappoint. Not only is it easy to enter the information but it is fun to do taxes each year. I never have any problems entering data from 1099Bs, Div & Int, or 1099Rs. Calculating Social Security on paper would be a nightmare but H&R Block made it as easy as 1,2,3. If you're looking for simple and accurate this is your tax prep software!

Very User Friendly

This product is very user friendly. The software program walks you through the entire process of preparing your return, including the prep of any behind the scenes forms that are required, like your Schedule A for Itemized Deductions, Schedule B for Interest and Dividends and Schedule D for Capital Gains.
