Very detailed interview process yet very simple and painless to follow. Retrieving saved info from previous year's return certainly helps to speed the process. This is the third year I've used HRB and I plan to continue doing so for many years to come.
Pros: Easy to install, Easy to fix issues, Easy to prepare, Maximizes refund, Easy to import, Fast
I would recommend this to a friend!

Great interview, but printing glitch

Program saves you money, but won't print entire return even from the forms option
The 1040 cover page prints only the second page. The stat would only print the last 2 pages. The instructions would only print the second page--weird

Great Tax Software

Have been using this software since 2008 and is very easy to use. The additional guides are of great help.

Nice software

Everything went smoothly except I downloaded financial documents twice (my mistake). Then H&R software program would only allow me to delete stock transactions 1 item at a time which was very cumbersome. Since it was my mistake initially I can't complain too much although I would hope in future the software would address.
Cons: Time consuming, Hard to fix issues
Pros: Easy to prepare, Easy to import

As good as Turbo Tax at a better price

I used Turbo Tax Deluxe for years but I was not happy that they made investors purchase the Premier Version at a higher cost. I decided to give HR Block a try and was very happy with the software. I found it to be as good or maybe better than Turbo Tax at a more reasonable price.

Error in preparing Federal Tax Return

I am very upset with H&R Block and will not be using the Block software again for preparing my income taxes. Whereas I inserted I am a Single taxpayer when inputting my data, the completed form stated that I am Married Filing Jointly, has an X at 6b under Exemptions, and inserted a 2 in Boxes checked.
Cons: Hard to install
Pros: Maximizes refund
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
