Product gets more user friendly every year!

After using H&R Block software fore over ten years, I find the program easier to use each year. To their credit, little inconveniences/annoyances seem to be eliminated each year. Now I would be hard pressed to identify any!
Pros: Easy to install, Easy to prepare, Maximizes refund, Easy to import, Fast
I would recommend this to a friend!

Almost perfect

Things seemed to go well for the most part. But I encountered a glitch in their program and had to spend considerable time researching and experimenting with a solution. Because my wife and I don't received SS payments, we are on Medicare and pay our premiums direct. Eventually I found the only way to get our premiums entered to flow to the respective worksheets/forms was to enter the premiums and nothing else in the SS Income Worksheet.
Cons: Hard to fix issues
Pros: Easy to install, Easy to import, Fast

Some Interview items need more explaniton

For some items that don't typically apply to me, I could have used some more "What is this" links. I was a little uncertain when & how my Health Savings Account was entered and used. The importing functions worked Great.
Pros: Easy to prepare, Easy to import

Easy to Use, But Buy Printer Paper

Easy lead-through, and does a good job of importing prior-year data. The weakness is the print capabilities. Unlike most applications, cannot select pages to be printed. Plus, does not always print what's on the screen (e.g., cash charitable contributions).

Great until 2nd return

Second return (for daughter) program added an income for previous year's return. She did not have income previous year and did not file a return that year. IRS rejected the E-file. Corrected by over-riding and re-submitted. All ok now.

Improving and ease of use

I am an accountant, and I prefer H&R Block over Turbo Tax and other programs because I can see the tax forms, I know where the numbers are going to. I have run into challenges but understand the program enough to know I'm doing the right thing.

Terrible Product!

The first return completed and electronically submitted, was rejected by the IRS. Come to find out, the program sent the wrong EIN for an employer.
Cons: Hard to fix issues
