Program is Good When it Works

Have used H&R Block for now the 5th year in a row. This year first uploaded from mailer CD. Program would not update either automatically or manually requiring 1+ hour with customer support and eventually a new download. Upon completion of taxes, went to file and program would not allow to file saying that the program needed to update. Once again, after numerous looping efforts, another call to customer support and now a second new software push. Customer support stated my experience was not unique amongst Windows 10 or Apple users. Disappointing.
Cons: Hard to fix issues
Pros: Easy to prepare, Maximizes refund, Fast
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

This is the first time I have used H&R Software. I was pleasantly surprised at how easy it was to use.

Easy Interface

I Have been using this for years and the interface with prior years data is smooth. I finish both Fed and State in less than 2 hours from start to filed.

Originally tried due to savings over turbo tax. The program walks you through every single step necessary and answers issues as they arise. I've continued with it, because it takes what I need from the previous year return and loads automatically.
Pros: Easy to install, Easy to prepare, Easy to import
