DIsappointing

We have used the program for many years, but this year we were disappointed. We went through the interview process but when we got to the Qualified Business Income Deduction it send us looking for a form from the IRS site that we needed to fill by hand without any guidance. That was bad enough, but then our return was rejected and we did not get any guidance on what was the problem, it just instructed us to go through the forms and look for errors. There are 90 pages of forms! How do you find an error? If it was rejected it should be obvious what was the problem and could guide us to fix the error
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

FEDERAL TAX PAYMENTS NOW A HUGE PAIN FROM BEFORE

HAVE USED H&R FOR YEARS BUT WILL BE SWITCHING. EXTERNAL WEBSITE REQUIRED TO SUBMIT FEDERAL PAYMENT IS HUGE PAIN, AND VERY VERY BUGGY.

Always use HR Block because it is the best tax software, easy to use, with help at your fingertips.
Pros: Easy to prepare, Maximizes refund, Easy to import documents, Fast

Do not know why I paid a tax for contributing to a 401K.
Pros: Easy to import documents
Cons: Time consuming, Doesn't maximize refund
