I have used the Deluxe software for 6 years and it has increased my speed of tax return completion. The fact the it saves my previous years returns and uploads my w-2s and my 1099s now that I am retired greatly increased the speed, efficiency, and ease of completing my return. each year.

I am happy with how easy it is to get thru with the interview process. The deduction pro is very helpful. The state portion is not so easy and very short on explanation. This should be improved!

H&R Block Deluxe has an improved user interface that makes entering data less tedious. I was able to quickly complete my federal and state income taxes quickly. Only two complaints: the software presents pop-ups urging the user to upgrade to Block Premium and add other services. This really annoys me. Second, the interface did not provide a way to enter an AZ tax credit for a donation to a school or other qualifying charities. I had to go into the forms and find the place to enter it doirectly.
