Not quite as good

Too many error messages that said it unexpectedly closed and I had to reopen it. Doesn't seem very compatible this year with my Mac which might cause me to switch to another software program. Instructions for part-time residents not very complete and the program doesn't compute numbers easily for you.
Cons: Time consuming

Have used H&R Block’s tax preparation software for past 5 yrs. Easy to follow, accurate, very helpful and great value.
Pros: Easy to import documents, Fast

Easy bunny trail except part about med insurance

The Software works well in general. However, I'm a Religious Healthshare subscriber (as are millions of American's that decided to save $30K a year vs. Obama Bronze, Really!) They should have an up front question relative to the Healthshare exemption. Instead, it's the last question on the bunny trail, after they've already tacked on the $5K "no freedom for you" individual mandate fine, which it then removes. It caused me a little Obama Care PTSD. It felt like a third of the Obama Care annual deductible; or, even 2 months of premiums getting sucked out of my pocket. But, after 5 minutes of torture it was over.
Pros: Easy to prepare

We have depended on H&R BLOCK for years and find the software easy to use and complete giving us the best tax return possible

I have used H&R Block since it first came out as TaxCut. Never had a problem and it was very easy to use.
Pros: Easy to prepare, Maximizes refund, Fast
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I've been using H&R Block for several years, always great, and Efile puts my refund in the bank fast.

I feel that it slipped in performance over the past years. It seemed to be very legal in asking questions and seemed to ask redundant questions. Again it does not allow you to print 2-sided and all I wanted to print was my 1040 but I had to print 6 other pages. Waste of paper and ink. Also had problems trying to save my forms in Adobe.
Pros: Fast
Cons: Hard to prepare
