Better than last year

Better than last year but you need to carry Drivers license info from previous year to current year.
Pros: Easy to prepare, Maximizes refund, Easy to import documents, Fast

Software is reasonably clear and relatively user friendly. However there sure gaps in instructions that are challenging to work through (e.g. IRA qualified charitable deduction entry is cumbersome to locate and Schedule A lists are not easily used). It is easy to electronically file the 1040 return with fast response from IRS.
Pros: Easy to import documents
Cons: Time consuming, Doesn't maximize refund

The interface fonts are too small and they cannot be increased.
The interactive prompts are sometimes misleading. This can result in 1099 data being entered in more than one place, resulting in incorrect computation of tax liability.
Tax data is not always automatically carried over from the Federal return to the Delaware return.

The IRS recognizes issues with the Information Returns Intake System (IRIS), including problems with entering 1099 data and errors in tax calculation, often due to duplicate entries. The IRS offers temporary workarounds. For state returns like Delaware, federal data may not automatically carry over; manual review might be needed for accuracy. Have been using this program for at least 15 years. It has gotten more complex over the years. The background worksheet should CARRY FROM THE PREVIOUS YEAR OUR DRIVER'S LICENSE INFO TO THE CURRENT YEAR.

After all these years it is still a problem to try and go back to change something and then return - sometimes have to advance page by page. Hard to get to a human with a problem. But once I managed that the help was great 5 stars. Bottom line: your people are great - your software not so much.
