Normally I really find the program easy to use EXCEPT for one major issue this year. My husband owns a managed fund; the 1099B imported fine but there were almost 600 transactions that all had a ! next to them so I had to open each one individually and click next to verify it. That's a lot of clicks. Furthermore, the scroll bar always reset to the top of the list which made scrolling down to the next one tedious. Can you make an "I approve all transactions" on a 1099B button?

I've used H&R Tax for 10 years. My first year needing to do an RMD the software was very confusing. You need to fix it with better language or a simple test to validate you met the RMD.

I have been using this software package for several years with great results. The only issue I have is with the CA nonresident forms. A person must complete form 3801 twice. First as a full time resident and second as a nonresident to obtain the figures needed for the 540NR document. The software doesn't automatically do this work for a person. A person must download the 8229 documents and personally add the numbers to the 3801 forms. This process is time consuming and prone to errors.
