Amending Tax Return is Difficult

I realized after I filed that I had entered a wrong basis of sale for calculating income. It took me another whole weekend to figure out how to access the amended tax form so I could have both the original and new figures on the form. I think I did it by accident for both the federal and state. I lost a weekend to do it. I had trouble getting to a chat page to make this less painful.
Cons: Time consuming, Hard to fix issues
Pros: Easy to install, Easy to prepare, Fast

HAVE BEEN USING H&R BLOCK FOR SEVERAL YEARS NOW, AND EACH YEAR THE SOFTWARE GETS BETTER. I ESPECIALLY APPRECIATE THE ABILITY TO DOWNLOAD ALL OF THE PREVIOUS YEAR'S BROKERAGE TRANSACTIONS IN ONE EASY STEP (WELL DONE!)

Federal updates will not load on a MAC

Very frustrating. Federal will not update on a MAC therefore will not let you e-file your returns. State was very difficult to load. Spent more time trying to get program to work than actually doing taxes. Would not recommend. Next year will be using a different program.

The state and PDF saving socks, it keeps on asking to download updated PDF and just crashes. I'll go back to TORBO tax for next year

Have used this program for the last 15 years. It imports all data from previous year so all you do is plug in the updated numbers from your current W-2's etc.... and update any new changes. Simple and easy to use.

my 2015 Software said "good news, your social security is not taxable" guess what it is taxable. cost me 1,429.00
