Taxes couldn't be easier for me!

I've used this software since it was Taxcut, and every year it gets better! Granted, my taxes aren't that difficult these days, but at one time I was handling capital gains and more - and the software made it so simple! My whole family uses H&R Block software now, and we all recommend it highly.
Pros: Easy to fix issues, Easy to prepare, Maximizes refund, Easy to import, Fast
I would recommend this to a friend!

I have been using the H R Block software ever since it was a Kipplinger product.
I have always been pleased with the way it takes you step by step through the tax process with a clear view of what is going on and where you stand.

State Return Problems, Double Billed

My NJ state return was rejected for e-filing though my federal was accepted. To top that off, my credit card was charged twice for the state return.
Cons: Hard to fix issues
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Does not include all the needed forms

Relatively easy to use but the state software did not include all the needed forms. Last year I received a letter from the state saying it was incomplete. This year I notice the same forms are still missing AND you would think that if the first two pages of the Fed return is needed, it could reprint those pages for me. but nope, it dosen't.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I've been using this software for several years and always happy with the results. This is the only software that offers the disability form necessary for my state return. So I will continue to use this as long as I live in this state!

The program could be even easier (clearer) to use. The 1099-B entries should be correlated to the "Check Box A" (or B through F). My 1099-B's are very clear as to what box to check. Can't the program give some hint as to what box I'm working with? Although I get it right almost every time, I'm never 100% sure until I do the final print out.

Much more efficienr

It was much more than efficient than previous years. Many quick entries and auto fill dates, drop downs populated for charities based on previous years, etc. However, it doesn't auto save and it crashed (first time that has ever happened to me with this software in decades of using it) and I wasted a lot of time re-entering donations with the its deductible portion of the software.
Cons: Time consuming, Hard to install
Pros: Easy to fix issues, Easy to import, Fast
I would recommend this to a friend!
