The Federal section was fine, but the Kansas state portion seemed very truncated as I was given very few questions to answer. Then, when I was finished and looked at the resulting tax, I knew something was wrong, so I went to Forms and looked through everything. Your software somehow had selected that we use the Std Deduction for KS, even through we itemized for the Fed return. I selected Itemized within the form and the system accepted it, even through your software generally won't allow changes to be made by altering a form. I've used your software for years, but this was very concerning and did not leave me with a feeling of confidence in using the product going forward. PLEASE check the KS state application.

Mostly good. The “buttons” that you click to advance don’t work well - there’s an HTML problem. Has to be an easy fix. When you try to click your cursor has to be lined up just right. Also, inherited an IRA but the “date purchased” didn’t alert me that typing “inherited” was an option - just stumbled on it. I’m guessing there are other similar fields with options you don’t know about. But overall the software works well and I’m confident it calculated properly.

Have used this program the last few years. I am mostly pleased with it. I do wish there was a search box on every screen.

Not very helpful and charged me 3 times for state

My federal was rejected and the directions to then get my state filed was nonexistent. Charged my card 3?times!!!!
Pros: Easy to import documents
Cons: Time consuming, Hard to prepare

I have used a version of this software for years to do my taxes. I have always found it to be easy to use and very comprehensive. Will continue to use it as long as it is available.

Stuck will not update!

I've used H&& block software for many years wihtout problems,but this year I'm to have to fill out my state taxes off line. H&R delux state will not update to allow the state form start. I've downloaded the and ran the .exe file but still wants an update. I'll try monday to call in but don't that will any fun.
