Inaccurate

State Return was inaccurate and no way to correct it.
Pros: Easy to install, Easy to import
Cons: Doesn't maximize refund, Hard to fix issues
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I have used your product for several years and have always liked it.
The current program does not work well for me.
I have been trying to do my return for three days. Still haven't been able to complete it.
Have a hard time figuring how to go back and correct an entry.

The efile does not work

I finished the taxes, review. Saved as PDF file at 1:50.
A. I went through all checks to efile Fed and CA.
Put in the VISA charge number to pay for the CA efile.
Entered the CA AGI
E-file the returns
Pressed the "SEND" and the computer
"Your return will now be transmitted to the IRS"
OK.
showed "secure transmission in progress.
Computer saved the submitted files at 2:05, 2:57, 3:14,
The computer then said "You need to update this program before you can efile.
Press "update now"
Check submission status: Not submitted.
Back to step A.
As of 3:39 I a m still not out of this loop.

Block ate up my Foreign tax credit

Not happy - check your numbers on the various forms. I had a Mutual fund with Foreign tax paid but $3 over the limit and so the amount paid on line 48 of my 1040 was BLANK. $300 CREDIT missing which is dollar for dollar in terms of owing to the IRS.
Program should have given a warning or heads up that you need to fill out Form 1116, etc. Will I now need to file on paper, have not tested to see if I can fill out From 1116 manually.
I have used HR block for years...not sure if any more.
Can HR Block really claim - gets your greatest refund???
Also, why does the software flag about RMD when someone is not 70 yrs old?
Program should have given a warning or heads up that you need to fill out Form 1116, etc. Will I now need to file on paper, have not tested to see if I can fill out From 1116 manually.

Had difficulties this year ,a lot of items ,, left me hanging ,unknown resolve. Muddled through and got clear accuracy review ,paid to have H&R Block submit.WASTE of Money ,because it was rejected and had to mail forms after all. STILL NOT Resolved : (

too many problems

Calif state was not delivered (email) with state. Considerable aggravation was required to get it (I had the receipt) . Your annoying phone robot didn't recognize it as a problem. Once I got it, it threw the program into an infinite loop that required well over an hour on the phone to straighten out.

importing issue - doesn't clear out the !

when importing and then going into each sale which removes the eclamation point. but when at the end it still tells u to go back and edit to remove the !. but this was already done. So now it tells you you have errorsto go back but you cant correct it - programing error. very frustrating!!! also the print options are not working properly.!!!
