Great tax prep software

Much easier to navigate then TaxAct and very reasonable compared to the orther software package cost
Pros: Easy to prepare
Cons: Hard to import documents

Only "problem" I had was my poor eyesight -- I'm 88 years old. Still managed. Liked the feature of your input of "Interests & Dividends" information. Nothing new in that regard for me.this year
Pros: Easy to prepare, Easy to import documents
Cons: Time consuming

Takes time but in a good way

Product was recommended to me by two fellow volunteer tax aides for AARP. Since I was familiar with TaxSlayer, I was prepared how this worked. If you have never used any software like this, it may not be as intuitive as TurboTax. I like the way I didn't have to enter all the 1099 data like we have to in TaxSlayer, though.
Pros: Fast
Cons: Hard to import documents

Does not work in multiple monitor environment

I tried to move the app to a different monitor and it disappeared as if it was on a ghost monitor. I couldn't get it back after disconnecting all external monitors, rebooting my computer or reinstalling the app. Finally, by snapping a different app to the right, Windows gave me an option to bring this app to that monitor. I lost over two hours trying to fix this.
Pros: Easy to prepare
Cons: Time consuming
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

TAX CHANGES

I HAVE USED YOUR PROGRAM IN THE PAST. BUT WITH ALL THE CHANGES I NEEDED MORE SUPPORT. WHEN I CALLED, SEVERAL TIMES, I ONLY HAD THREE PEOPLE WHO COULD ANSWERT MY QUESTIONS. THE REST JUST GAVE ME BUSINESS ANSWERS WHIC DID NOT HELP. EVEN TALKED WITH A LOCAL OFFICE AND THEY WERE EVEN LESS HELP. THEY ONLY TRIED TO GET ME TO COME IN SO THEY COULD FILE FOR ME. ONLY CARED ABOUT ON HOW MANY RETURNS THEY DID THIS SEASON. AFTER THREE WEEKS OF PHONE CALLS I WAS ABLE TO FINISH THE RETURN. YOU NEED TO BETTER TRAIN CUSTOMER SERVICE AND ALL OTHER DEPARTMENTS TO BETTER HANDLE SUPPORT THAT WILL BE NEEDED. DON'T LEAVE US HANGING, DOESN'T MAKE YOU LOOK GOOD.

Easy and Accurate

I've used H&R Block tax software for several years, ever since I switched from TurboTax, which wouldn't work with the dial-up internet I was using at the time. I find it easy and accurate, and a better value than TurboTax. I went back to TurboTax about 4 years ago and regretted it. I've stayed with H&R block ever since and have had no problems.
Pros: Easy to prepare, Fast
