Too complex for ordinary nonliterate computer pers

I think I did all the directions right even though I'm not computer literte!
Cons: Time consuming, Hard to prepare

I have been the victim of tax return fraud and so I'd like to see the IRS PIN detail both highlighted so it's more prominent along with the software being written to recognize the use of the PIN from a previous year's return, even if it was submitted by a competitor.
Now that the standard deduction is so large, the benefits of making a charitable contribution have diminished when considering that most people won't be itemizing their returns. I could have saved several hours had this fact been flagged more prominently.

Watch out

The short term / long term capital loss USED in previous year gets imported to current year capital loss CARRYOVER line year after year. I have experienced this repeatedly. Don't want to double count a loss- in the year where 1099's provided, and the next year too, because of H&R Block software progrm imported last year's "loss used' into a currect year's "carryover line" wihich enables you to use it again.
Pros: Easy to prepare

I have used H&R tax software for four years. The only problems I have had are errors that I made my self. After checking over my returns and correcting my mistakes, I have had no problems. My tax forms have been accepted by both the federal and state.
Pros: Easy to prepare, Maximizes refund

Very glitchy this year

I've used H&R Block for decades. This is the first year I've run into multiple problems with all sorts of things. The importing function didn't work at all this year; I had to enter all stock sales individually.
Cons: Time consuming, Hard to prepare, Hard to import documents
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I had trouble at first, but it was my ignorance. After deleting it. And redoing it I think I did it right. Next year will go better I hope.
